  • [3/5/04] Trafficking of Human Persons on eBay.com (HTML)/(PDF)(eBay Ad)
    • Update: NCVA commends eBay, Inc. for their swift action to remove the illegal auction item from its website. On March 12, NCVA spoke with eBay representatives in San Jose, CA. The user connected with the listing has been referred to Taiwanese law enforcement officials for action. NCVA will work with eBay, Inc. to find mechanisms to thwart the online trafficking of human persons. We call on everyone who is concerned about this matter to be diligent in reviewing eBay for other illicit transactions on a regular basis.
