About NCVA
Founded in 1986, the National Congress of Vietnamese Americans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community advocacy organization working to advance the cause of Vietnamese Americans in a plural but united America – e pluribus unum – by participating actively and fully as civic minded citizens engaged in the areas of education, culture and civil liberties.

NCVA currently has the following programs to further our mission of increasing participation of Vietnamese Americans and Asian Pacific Americans in the political process at the national, state and local levels on issues that impacts the communities of interests, including education, health, immigration and public policy.

NCVA is committed to building the capacity of the next generation of Vietnamese American leaders. Through Internship opportunities, NCVA provides interns with hands-on experience working in a national non-profit organization. Additionally, interns gain experience working with other local and national organizations and leaders on issues that impact Vietnamese Americans. NCVA offers internships in our Washington, DC office.
